A quick one day hike with the family to the Wichita Mountainis. It's been a crazy couple of week in our world and it seems that our normal "family time" is spent in front of a screen. The weather is finally starting to turn here in the south. We had a break in the schedule, so Noah and I took a quick trip to the Wichita Mountains for some Father-Son time. Rae and I celebrated 19 years this past week. We booked a cheap little getaway in the mountainside of Arkansas to take a few days, relax, breathe, and just be. We didn't do a whole lot. We sat, talked, read, watched a few shows, and occasionally got out to eat and be outdoors. Most importantly, it was time. Time to be with one another and ourselves. Noah and I took a quick trip up to the Wichita mountains yesterday. We had a great time exploring the crab eyes trail also drove him up Mount Scott and had a quick stop down in Medicine Park to grab some ice cream.
